Yesterday, I photographed a 1st cycle Glaucous Gull at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Also, there were 6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, several Thayer's Gulls and 38 Bald Eagles! Cherry Creek was 90% frozen yesterday. Today at Chatfield, I saw a 1st cycle and adult Kumlien's Iceland Gull and an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. I believe this is the first time Iceland Gulls have visited Chatfield. Yesterday there was an adult Mew Gull at Chatfield but I did not see it today. Chatfield Reservoir is about 25% frozen.
