My wife and I spent a chilly hour at Chatfield at first light, mainly along
the edge of the reservoir at the north boat ramp. There is a nice variety
of winter birds (hooded merganser, common merganser, bald eagle, common
goldeneye, ring-billed gulls, etc.), but if the Iceland gull was there, we
weren't good enough to identify it.

If anyone sees it this morning, please let us know as we may make another
attempt in the early afternoon (having already bought the $8 parks pass!).
