Hi Birders.

The Common Redpoll that hit the museum window on Tuesday is recovering
nicely from her head trauma and will be ready for release tomorrow. She
received pain/anti-inflammatory medication and supportive care at Greenwood
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Greenwood is a non-profit organization
that treats injured and orphaned Colorado wildlife. Donations make it
possible for us to care for Colorado wild birds and mammals.

I plan to release the bird at the museum near the feeders between 930a and
10a tomorrow, Friday January 11th. Hopefully the museum has installed
window stickers to prevent this from happening again. Anyone who is
interested, I will see you there.
