Hello, I stopped by Centennial Park this afternoon (2/14/13) around 3:00PM for a short Gull study, less than 60 Ring-billed, nothing more. I was surprised to find (5) Double-crested Cormorant. In years past my first observation has been the second or third week in March. Are these the Adams County 74th-88th birds or early arrivals? It peaks my curiosity. Backyard birds continue. American Goldfinch on the 12th and 13th, Mallard hen and drake as regular visitors feeding on seed drop. Everyone should eBird! Art Hudak Denver County, Colorado
