Around 3:30pm, just as the snow storm was arriving, I found a Say's Phoebe
near the start of the Fairmount Trail at the base of N. Table Mtn (east
side). Access from small parking area on Easley Rd. or park at Tony
Grampsas Park.

I saw a Say's Phoebe at this exact location a month ago, on Jan. 20th. Same
characteristic flycatcher appearance and tail wagging. Distinctive and
undeniable. In both sightings, it perched on a chain link fence by the
concrete section of the ditch that runs along the base of N. Table Mtn.
I've seen enough bugs flying around to believe it is finding food, but that
may not be the case tomorrow with snow and plummeting temps.

Good Birding,
