Three of us visited South Platte Reservoir yesterday (3/2/13) from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM and did see the two Long-tailed Ducks that had been previously reported. They moved around some but stayed in the Arapahoe County section of the reservoir while we were there. I would also like to say thanks for all the great posts. We only had a day and a half to bird the Denver area this weekend but managed to get six state birds and a lifer (Thayer's Gull at Cherry Creek) thanks to all the leg work that had been done for us.
