Beautifully colored male Redpoll at the feeder for about one minute this afternoon, accompanied by two Pine Siskins, a White-winged Junco, American Goldfinches and an immature Bald Eagle who flew low over the garage. The White-crowned Sparrows and Juncos are still here and were joined by the Red-winged Blackbirds that rule the feeders. Two male and two female Downy Woodpeckers appeared at the suet with both kinds of Chickadees. Guess I should stay home more. Norma Erickson North of Greeley Along Highway 392 at the WCR 35 intersection.
