Hi all,

There were quite a few migrants around yesterday morning along the Arkansas
River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam.

Yellow-headed Blackbird (one), Blue-winged Teal (male), Black-crowned
Night-Heron (adult), Tree Swallow (8), Northern Rough-winged Swallow (2),
Violet-green Swallow, and Brown-headed Cowbird. Other highlights: a male
Ladder-backed Woodpecker, a Black Phoebe, pair of Cinnamon Teal, a Barn
Swallow, four Greater Yellowlegs, and Ospreys.

Today, seemed more quiet.  The highlight was a Baird's Sandpiper, also David
Chartier saw a Merlin near the Sankeskin Picnic Area.  Also seen this morning,
Blue-winged and Cinnamon Teal, Greater Yellowlegs, American Pipits, Northern
Rough-winged Swallow, and Ladder-backed Woodpecker.

After David left, I went to the South Shore Marina at Pueblo Reservoir, where a
Barn and Cliff Swallow flew by.

Good birding.
