Hi All,

This morning the Golden-crowned Sparrow showed up around 7:45 A.M. With the snow and cold there were lots of hungry birds at the feeders behind the Red Rocks Trading Post and listening to the Peregrine Falcons calling on Ship Rock while watching the feeders is a special treat. All the various subspecies of juncos (except White-winged) are still around. Several odd looking House Finches including one with a white head and several of the yellow color variants. Did not see the FOS Chipping Sparrow that was seen on Monday, April 8. Saw one of the Prairie Falcons sitting on the top of Frog Rock when I left the park.

I will be unable to get to Red Rocks tomorrow , so hopefully with another cold night on tap, someone scan throw some seed out tomorrow morning. Good birding,
