There seemed to be a lot of birds around Pueblo today. Here is summary of what was seen, by various people who were out and about today:
Pueblo Reservoir: American Avocet - 2 Common Loon - 2 molting into alternate plumage Frankln's Gulls Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam: MEXICAN DUCK - 1 male (probably the same one that was in Pueblo City Park on 4/7) Black-necked Stilt - 2 Lesser Yellowlegs - 2 Greater Yellowlegs - 4 Willet - 1 Baird's Sandpiper - 1 Bonaparte's Gulls all six species of swallows were seen Eastern Phoebe - 1 American Pipits Ospreys Cattail Crossing in Pueblo West: Snowy Egret - 1 Savannah Sparrow - 2 Vesper Sparrow - 1 Yellow-headed Blackbird - 1 Peregrine Falcon - 1 flyover Brush Hollow Reservoir, Fremont County this morning: Pacific Loon - 1 Bonaparte's Gulls Pinyon Jays East of Portland, Fremont County: Eastern Phoebe - 1 Brandon Percival Pueblo West, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
