Birders,

Today Norm Erthal and I were in the above counties and had pretty good luck
on some treacherous roads.

In Logan Co, on Hwy 61 east of Sterling, we had:

1,000's of Horned Larks

2 - McCowan's Longspurs

3 - Lapland Longspurs

1- Chestnut-collared Longspur

1 - Junco

Miles of slushy roads.

Adams Co:

1 - Swainson's Hawk

1 - McCowan's Longspur

1 - Loggerhead Shrike

1 - Rough-legged Hawk

More Horned Larks

Morgan Co:

1 - Rough-legged Hawk

1 - Bald Eagle (not near water)

3 - Greater Yellowlegs

1 - Lesser Yellowlegs

4 - Blue-winged Teal

More Horned Larks

It was really cold and windy but worth it to see a Swainson's Hawk and 2
Rough-legs on the same day along with the longspurs.
