Visited Lake Cheraw this morning. Birds of interest were one DUNLIN, found on the west side of the lake along CO109; many SNOWY PLOVERS; BAIRD'S SANDPIPER; LEAST SANDPIPER; BLACK-NECKED STILT; AMERICAN AVOCET; LESSER YELLOWLEGS; WILSON'S PHALAROPE; and my first of year BROWN-HEADED COWBIRD. Near Blue Lake in Kiowa County, there were two MOUNTAIN PLOVERS. David ChartierColorado Springs, CO
