After work today I went back to 115th north of Panama Res. and drove very slowly getting incredible views of birds working the roadside. They mostly ignored my car and only flushed when a car passed me. *Chestnut-collared, Lapland, and McCown's *were all present. A *Sage Thrasher* was huddled next to the bridge on Niwot Rd. *Savannah* and *Vesper Sparrows *were present with one Savannah building a snow cave on the side of the road.
My nemesis shorebird in Boulder county, *Long-billed Curlew*, made its presence heard and known with a flock of 16 heading north towards Longmont. -- Todd Deininger Longmont, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
