Yesterday, a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker visited my yard briefly before being chased away by the nesting Lewis's Woodpeckers. I am hoping returns to try for photo. Also, an early Western Tanager (spanking male!) was in the yard too.
Near Hotchkiss yesterday, a Black Phoebe and Gray Flycatcher were seen at the Old Water Treatment Plant. This morning I heard a singing Fox Sparrow (same one as on 23rd?) near Paonia. It was about .7 mile from where I heard a singing Fox Sparrow 3 days ago. -- Jason Beason Paonia - Delta Co. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
