Birders,

Highlights on our monthly Barr Lake bird walk, we had:

6 or 7 Ross's Geese (1 blue morph)

Western Kingbird FOS (near the gate to Barr Lake)

Burrowing Owls (2) our first in the years we have been doing this walk.
John Breitsch found them south and west of the Nature Center

Ferruginous Hawk

Yellow-rumped Warblers (John found one with an orangish throat)

Osprey on the nesting platform

Solitary Sandpiper in the ditch

Greater Yellowlegs (2) in the ditch

AND there was a report of a Roadrunner near the entrance to the park
reported by another group. I didn't know any of them.
