Another slow spring day, catching winter visitors and year-round residents
only. But, a beautiful day, with lots of visitors. We enjoyed a migrating
Broad-winged Hawk, plus a group of pelicans that just seemed to be cruising
around, enjoying the day as much as we were. Here's the breakdown:

Downy Woodpecker 1

Black-capped Chickadee 2

Song Sparrow 2

White-crowned Sparrow, Gambels 2

Red-winged Blackbird 1

House Finch 2

We heard House Wrens, but not near the nets; our HOWR habitat has been
pretty much destroyed by beaver activity. Did not see or hear any warblers.
A few bushes and trees are starting to leaf out.
