I put out a hummingbird feeder today, thinking the hummers were going to be 
awfully hungry when they arrive.  I was at Chautauqua yesterday in Boulder 
and didn't see or hear ONE broad-tail.  And as if on queue, a male showed 
up this afternoon, VERY thirsty at my feeder in Louisville.  I don't 
usually see them in the spring, only when they are coming back down the 
mountain in mid-summer.
