Pretty good weekend for bright new birds for the year at my place near
Lyons.

Sat. 5-11 Bullock's Oriole, Western Tanager

Sun. 5-12 Lesser Goldfinch, Lewis' Woodpecker, Black-headed Grosbeak,
Evening Grosbeak, Brown-headed Cowbird

1 male each except the Evening Grosbeak (1f) and the Woodpecker (1?).

Pinyon jays have been calling daily for the last week, but only dipping into
the feeders once in a while. Seen 4 max.

Pine Siskins are eating me out of thistle.probably have 65 lurking.

Last time I saw a Junco here was Thursday, so I think they've moved on
and/or up.
