Hi COBirders, As Brandon P already posted, we had a good morning banding (RMBO) at Chico Basin Ranch this morning. Like the past three mornings, it got warm quickly, and birds were pretty sedentary after about 10am. About 45 new birds were banded.
Highlights (full report to follow soon): Long-eared Owl (#9 this season!) FOS Chestnut-sided Warbler, Second-year male, Spankin' (photos available) FOS Warbling Vireo - our first vireo of any kind this season! Go figure.
