COBirders,

Thanks to a number of phone calls and text messages, I drove to Beidleman
Nature Center, a.k.a. Catamount Institute, a part of Sondermann Park in Colo
Spgs to search for the previously reported Blackburnian Warbler (by Bob
Gooycolea via Ken Pals), first seen on 23 May. The warbler sang briefly and
then foraged quietly for long periods at all heights in most of the trees,
coniferous and deciduous, mostly in ones surrounding the parking lot.
Spanky or "cherried out" male.
