Around noon today I observed what I believe was a Red-eyed Vireo at Watson Lake, on the southeast side of the lake, between the road and the river, just south of the boardwalk going down to the riverside path. Scott Cobble was with we. We both saw a vireo from below that was all white underneath except for a very faint wash of yellow under the tail. It very briefly dipped its head, and I saw (Scott didn't) what seemed to me to be a white "eyebrow" that was very distinctive and strongly contrasting with the rest of the head. The contrast was stronger than I'd expect for a Warbling Vireo, seen by Scott and others recently here. Scott and I walked after the bird when it flew away. Later, we both thought we were hearing a REVI sing from the treetops.
