Hi all, The Black Swifts (at least six) I saw earlier this morning west of the Valco Ponds parking lot in Pueblo, were still flying around as of 9:50am. Margie Joy and I were still seeing them, from the Rock Canyon side of the river at that time, with lots of Cliff Swallows. Also, on the Rock Canyon side of the river, Margie and I were able to see and hear a singing male Ovenbird. My other highlights were this morning in the Valco/Rock Canyon area: a late male Bufflehead, a Peregrine Falcon, and an Eastern Phoebe. Late migrants included White-crowned and Lincoln's Sparrows, Western Tanagers, Swainson's Thrush, and Willow Flycatchers.
