Hello, Birders. Here's a sorta late announcement about two upcoming bird walks. Saturday, 6/29. Meet at the Carpenter Ranch headquarters for a PROMPT 5am departure to the end of the Yampa River preserve and back. We will be walking on good, level, but potentially muddy trails, for ~8 miles. We'll be done by 11am. I'll be in the visitor parking area at 5am. And I'll be long gone by 5:01am. Saturday 6/29. Meet at the Carpenter Ranch for bare-naked birding (binoculars prohibited) at 12 noon. We'll embark on a leisurely stroll of 1-2 hours with no binoculars. Make a day of it, and join us for lunch (bring your own) at 11am. Children, beginners, non-birders, etc. are abundantly welcome at both outings. Experts okay too. The Carpenter Ranch in late June is fantastic: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/cobirds/iDFEyr0v6w0/GutFNw7U1XcJ And who needs binoculars?-- http://blog.aba.org/2013/06/the-bare-naked-big-walk.html Any questions? Please email me or call my cell: 303-817-4233. See you "bright" and early Saturday! Or late and leisurely. Whatever works for you. Ted [email protected], Boulder County, Colorado
