Greetings All
So, I did not do much birding today, and what I did was local, and though I missed out on yonder Sandwich Tern, there is a big smile on my face. Also, in the wee bit of birding I did do, I found the following 2 CACKLING GEESE remain at Golden Ponds, with 1 LESSER CANADA, which WAS NOT present in late May. And Sandstone Ranch, in the trees around the visitor center, was a very vocal GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER. There was likely a second one down by the creek, but it could've been the same bird having moved 1/4 mile or so. Also, along the creek below and to the south of the visitor center there was a male AMERICAN REDSTART singing away.
