Birders,
This morning (July 5th) I observed a white-phase REDDISH EGRET at Adobe
Creek in Kiowa County. It was in the southeast corner of the shrunken
reservoir. It is almost due north of the main (closed) boat ramp, and
about 200 yards east of the easternmost camping group. There is a tiny
point east of the campers, and the bird was near, and east, of this
point. I was lucky enough to watch it canopy-feeding and photograph it.
