We've been watching a red-necked grebe in breeding plumage at Lake John outside
of Walden. It has been on the lake since Weds. Seems to always be in the middle
of the lake-bring your scope.  (As a bonus there are western grebe chicks still
riding on parents back and black necked stilt chicks and one-week old baby
ducks (gadwalls and wigeons)).
