Ira lives in the foothills near/(in?) Golden, Tina on the east/northeast side of Marston reservoir. But I am distinctly further out on the plains in Centennial, near Orchard and Colorado Blvd. So my feeder today had the four expected species of hummingbirds...calliope (one yesterday, another two today), rufous, broad-tailed, and black-chinned. Never as many as Tina's numbers, but feeding times correspond...many for a brief visit as the sun is up, intermittent visits during the day, many more visits from about two hours until 45 minutes before sunset. A great proportion of the black-chinneds are imm males.
