This morning I found 2 Black Phoebes in juvenal plumage at Sell's Lake
adjacent to the Canon City Riverwalk. And contrary to my belief that the
parent bird had left, I spotted an adult Black Phoebe a few hundred feet
away on the other side of the Sell's Lake-so the young bird's are not quite
independent.

I also saw at another one, maybe two migrating Western Tanagers, along the
Canon City Riverwalk.
