Hi COBirders,

While doing some "preseason" banding at Chico Basin Ranch (El Paso Co side),
and clearing lanes of deep weeds for next week's official start, I've had two
good mornings of migrants.

Highlights today - a Hatch-year OVENBIRD, and a Hatch-year BLUE-HEADED VIREO.
Still working on pictures for that one.

Plus many Wilson's Warblers, Orange-crowned Warblers, Yellow Warblers, Chipping
Sparrows, W Wood-Pewee, Cordilleran Flycatchers, and Gray Catbirds. About 85
birds caught the last two mornings, in just 6 nets. For some reason, clearing
just keeps taking longer.

Happy Migration!
