Each day recently I've said it couldn't be any slower than yesterday, and
then I'm proven wrong. If I had an easy way to do it, I'd try to see if
there had ever been a slower last week in September. Today we banded 7
birds (if you ignore the 10 House Sparrows and 1 House Finch that we caught
at the Nature Center nets so we'd have something to show our visiting
group):

Downy Woodpecker 1

House Wren 1

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 1 (FOS)

Orange-crowned Warbler 2

Wilson's Warbler 2

Not sure I want to think about what tomorrow will (or will not) bring!
