Hi all,

The first part of this week yielded a few more birds than last week (mostly
American Robins and White-crowned Sparrows). Today I caught the first
Audubon's Warbler of this fall at this station, which was exciting. Here's
a summary:

Monday, 9/30/13: Total - 6
Black-capped Chickadee - 1
Bushtit - 1
American Robin - 2
Song Sparrow - 1
White-crowned Sparrow - 1

*Tuesday, 10/1/13: Total - 22*
Black-capped Chickadee - 2
American Robin - 10
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Virginia's Warbler - 1
Wilson's Warbler - 1
Spotted Towhee - 1
Song Sparrow - 1
White-crowned Sparrow - 4

*Wednesday, 10/2/13: Total - 11*
Black-capped Chickadee - 1
American Robin - 6
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Spotted Towhee - 1
White-crowned Sparrow - 2

*Thursday, 10/3/13: Total - 10*
Cassin's Vireo - 1
Juniper Titmouse - 1
American Robin - 1
Audubon's Warbler - 1
Wilson's Warbler - 1
White-crowned Sparrow - 5


As a reminder, our public banding day is on Saturday, October 12, in the
morning until about 12pm.
