Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR

Space is limited on this very popular trip. At 8 a.m. meet the leader and
bird until 1 p.m. For details on the trip and directions, please register
by phone since space on the bus is limited. Late migrants and waterfowl
are expected to be seen on this trip. Lunch is optional.
Sunday, October 27
Longmont Area Birding
Leader: Nancy Wesorick, 970-532-2194
Meet leader at 8 a.m. at Jim Hamm Natural Area parking lot. From I-25
take Exit 240. Go west 4 miles on CO 119 to Boulder-Weld County Line Road, then
approximately two miles north to park on left at E 17th Avenue. Bird
until 1 or 2 p.m. Walking will be held to less than two miles, and we will
drive from site to site. We will be looking for waterfowl, raptors, late
shorebirds, and resident birds getting ready for winter.
