To add to what Eric noted, we returned to the east side of Terry lake a half
hour later and the Little Gull was roosting with Bonaparte's and Ring-billed
Gulls in the east bay providing us with a closet view.  It looks like a 1st
basic plumage bird with more than a smattering of retained juvenile
feathers.
