Birders, Today on our way to a house warming in Saudi Aurora, Tammy spotted a group of hawks sitting on the ground in a plowed field with lots of prairie dogs and burrows. We stopped and found 9 Ferruginous Hawks sitting in a group. 5 flew and 4 stayed in a group.
The location was on 6th ave just east of Buckley AFB and just west of E 470. My gps was also calling the road we were on Co 30.
