To follow-up on a post by phone. Camping at Lake Hasty Fri-Sun (a wonderful
spot that we had all to ourselves), I happened upon a lifer I have been
chasing for a long time. A Rusty Blackbird was vocalizing non-stop amongst
the Russian Olive, Elm and other trees 100 yards north of the pay station
along the road at Lake Hasty; Friday afternoon. I got great looks from mere
feet away. It appeared to be a non-breeding adult female as pictured by
Sibley; which oddly doesn't resemble any drawing in Natl Geo that much. I
did not refind this bird either Sat or Sun.

Other highlights were:

. Cedar Waxwings (~6)

. Prairie Falcon

. Roosting Harlan's Hawk

. Loads of Marsh Wrens

. Lots of serenading Great Horned Owls all night, every night

Complete list below.
