I had a few interesting birds around Pueblo, Pueblo County this week, Tuesday to Friday.
Tuesday, 11/12: Along with Pearle Sandstrom-Smith and Clif Smith at Pueblo Reservoir: Black Scoter - 1 female off North Picnic Road Wednesday, 11/13: Along with Bill Maynard at Pueblo Reservoir: Great Black-backed Gull - 1 adult at South Shore Marina Pacific Loon - 1 off Sailboard launching area Along with Bill at Pueblo City Park: Black-throated Green Warbler - 1 immature female Thursday, 11/14: Along with Leon Bright, Pearle Sandstrom-Smith, and Clif Smith at Pueblo City Park: Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - 1 adult male no luck with any rare warblers Along with Pearle and Clif at Pueblo Reservoir: Great Black-backed Gull - 1 adult at South Shore Marina tires Pacific Loon - 2 off Sailboard launching area Friday, 11/15: Along the Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam (South Side of the River): Rusty Blackbird - 2 Swamp Sparrow - 1 Say's Phoebe - 2 Black Phoebe - 1 White-throated Sparrow - 1 Common Yellowthroat - 2 Barrow's Goldeneye - 1 male Greater Scaup - 1 female Hermit Thrush - 1 very dark Mallard type duck - 1 flyover I think that is everything, have a good weekend!
