Ross x Cackling Goose hybrids do occur, as well as several other combinations.

There is a goose in the pond south of the ELC parking lot that has the body of 
a cackling goose, a white head and neck and a Ross's goose bill. Never seen one 
before. Can it be a Ross/Cackling hybrid?
