This afternoon, I went up to Red Rocks and spread millet under the feeders
after the cold night with light snow. As soon as I spread out the seed the
birds came out immediately. The Golden-crowned Sparrow showed along with a
Tree Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, several Song Sparrows, lots of Juncos(no
white-winged yet), Spotted Towhees, and the other more common Red Rock's birds.
Hopefully a prolonged cold snap will bring Rosy-Finches this year!
