I'm leading a trip tomorrow to look for geese and ducks in Larimer County. Twenty species of ducks and geese have been recorded in eBird for Larimer County in the past 7 days. The beauty and diversity of ducks in North America is what drew me into birding years ago, and I intend for this to be a welcoming outing for birders of all skill levels. If you know beginners or bird-curious folk in the Fort Collins area, please let them know. Among other stops, we are likely to visit a private property on Windsor Reservoir, which is a good fall birding spot that has little/no public access. We will depart at 7:30 a.m. from the north end of the Harmony Road Transfer Center parking area (Fort Collins).
