Hi all,
I birded a little around Pueblo this morning, before the cold and snow comes tonight. Pueblo Reservoir: Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 adult Thayer's Gull - 1 juvenile Mexican Duck - 1 swimming with Mallards at the South Shore Marina tires Common Loon - 2 Pueblo Zoo (with Margie Joy): Gray Catbird - 1 near the Vulture cage Pueblo City Park pond (with several people): Snow Goose - 1 immature no sign of the Tennessee Warbler (last seen on 1 Dec). Good luck to all the warblers and other small birds that should be south of here, hopefully they survive the really cold air that will be here for several days. It appears that the start of the Christmas Bird Count season, will be very cold.
