Hi all,

This morning around 10:15 a small group of Tuesday Birders saw 2 long-tailed
ducks on South Platte Reservoir in Jefferson County. They appeared to be near
the center of the reservoir and were diving regularly. Shortly after noon a
larger group of Tuesday Birders relocated the ducks. This time they appeared
to be closer to the eastern side of the reservoir.

The group also found both a peregrine and a prairie falcon on the telephone
poles on the western and southern edges of the reservoir. Numerous other
expected duck and raptor species were also present in the park.
