Steve Jones (CFO's 2013 Ron Ryder Award Recipient) is looking for
interested teen applicants for a paid ornithological study adventure to Hog
Island Maine.

Boulder County Audubon Society offers a full scholarship to a summer
ornithology camp for Colorado students ages 15-17. The Audubon Camp
includes field identification, bird song recognition, conservation
practices, and participation in Audubon's seabird conservation field
research.

Steve says that although preference would be given to students in Boulder
County Audubon's service area, the scholarship is open to all Colorado
teens. So far no one has applied and the deadline in January 15, 2014. Do
you know a deserving teen birder in Colorado?
