Folks- I'm sad to report that the cold snap was too much for the Ovenbird
that has been frequenting my yard. It's first stint was 21 November - 11
December 2013, and it reappeared 4 & 5 January this year.  I found it in
one of the protected areas it preferred with no outward signs of trauma.
 It was -10.5° F when I left for work this morning, certainly far from what
this neotropical migrant should be experiencing.

Thanks for all the great notes & inquiries about the bird!!  Wishing for
something that likes it cold now.
