As the field trip coordinator for Fort Collins Audubon Society (FCAS), I'm hoping to schedule a trip to Soapstone Prairie - probably in June 2014. There is a strong possibility this would be a joint venture of FCAS and the Boulder chapter of Audubon. I've never been to Soapstone and I can find almost no eBird or COBIRDS reports from there. Are there any COBIRDS readers who know the area well and might want to lead a field trip - or at least offer suggestions to whomever leads this trip? Alternatively, if you know a birder who knows Soapstone but doesn't read COBIRDS, I'd love to have their contact information. Any assistance is appreciated but you can send it to me by personal reply - I don't want to clutter the COBIRDS postings with anything other than sightings. Happy birding, John Shenot Fort Collins, CO FCAS Field Trip Coordinator
