Steve,
I think the answer to your question is that COBirds was on a private server (Net Atlantic) until 2006 at which time we switched to Google. I have most of the Net Atlantic posts from 2000-2006 and all of the rest from 2006 and after are archived on our Google site. It is difficult to get back to the older posts on Google unless you apply a custom Google filter that lets you select a year (which is much easier than scrolling backwards.) Older COBirds posts (from the Google era only) are also archived other places on the internet including Surfbirds: http://surfbirds.com/birdingmail/ On surfbirds you can also pick a year to get back to our older posts. I will work on getting the posts I have archived online so they are available to anyone that wants to search them. ------------------- Rachel Hopper Ft. Cobirders, It is good news that Rachel has some of those records archived, but the question remains why they are not available online. I have in the past gone to Jack Siler's old birdingonthe.net sight and queried the data. Currently, all of the other state's records still appear, are accessible and intact, but the Colorado records are no longer there. Why is that?
