There was a strong southward movement of gulls passing over Littleton at the end of the day today (1/18), as I viewed them from the parking lot at St. Mary Church on South Prince. They were mostly Ring-billed (1,845 tallied), but also 98 Herring, and among them I also picked out an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL and a 1st cycle GLAUCOUS GULL. Maybe they were heading to Chatfield SP? They couldn't be going much farther unless they were going to fly at night.
Two LONG-TAILED DUCKS continued at South Platte Reservoir (Arapahoe Co portion), and an adult BALD EAGLE passed over Eagle Watch Lake at Southe Platte Park.
