Just a reminder that CO-Birds is automatically archived online for the
entire planet to see, meaning you don't have to have a subscription to
CO-Birds to see CO-Birds emails.

When people have interesting birds showing up at their backyard feeders, I
think it would be a much better practice to say the city and then something
like "Contact me privately for directions"

Of course we know that this sort of message is meant well, and birdwatchers
are generally a great bunch of people...

... but the internet is full of unsavory types and broadcasting innocent
emails saying "Here's my address, and I'm not going to be home at all this
weekend" is not a good idea

Not meant to scold anyone, but not everyone who has access to CO-birds
emails is as sweet as Great Aunt Betty who lives on the corner...
