So, after literally 7 failed attempts (6 at Chatfield and one up in
Loveland) to see the Brandt, my son and I finally had success today. There
was a tip that he was seen at Redstone Park in Highlands Ranch. Sure
enough, we were able to walk right up to the little fellow late this
afternoon. He was on the farthest south part of the park, in a baseball
field near the houses.

Now, that the Brandt chapter of our life is closed, can I have back two
consecutive days I spent this weekend driving the back roads of Morgan
County looking for the Snowy Owl? I need those 15 painful hours back to go
find the Snowy Owl that the board members found in Lincoln county... :-)
