A lovely mature Rough-legged Hawk has been hanging out all winter between Airport Road and N. 75th, west of Longmont on the north side of Nelson Road, between Amgen and Seagate. Sometimes, it's extremely close to the road. Other times, it's in the small riparian area that runs north of those two complexes, accessible from both the east and west.
