Leaving work yesterday I encounter a bird about the size of a robin but it was mostly grey. Short black beak, white eye ring, white and black stripe along tail and possible wing bar.
My best guess is a Townsend's Solitaire, but never having seen one before I'm reluctant to call it that. Any assistance is appreciated.
